Installing the Client

The best way for installing the Tryton client on Windows is: download the client from the download page. There you find a self-contained package and nothing to worry about.

Installing the Server

Currently we do not provide packages for the server. Sorry! But we are working on it, see RoadmapWindows.

Meanwhile please follow the instructions for building your own Tryton Server installer package.

New Installation helpers

We are currently working on new installation helper. This helpers ease collection all the required stuff for Windows. You are invited to test them so we can fiddle out the last bugs.

Short description (will be completed soon):

• Client:
1. Download and install Python 2.x from http://www.python.org/download/
• Please use the most current version of the Python 2.x.x series.
• You may want to add python.exe to your PATH
2. Download and unzip tryton-windows.zip
3. Run python tryton-install-helper.py --install
