Do you like Twitter? Do you like Growl? Try Trowel! It puts the two together! Trowel is a minimal twitter client that sends your Tweets to Growl. It's designed to take up as little space on your desktop as possible. You can also post tweets from the status menu, with URL completion.

Obviously you will need Growl installed, the application will prompt you if it is not. To download, just go to the Downloads tab! Built for Snow Leopard.
