TrayCD lets you eject and insert your cd-rom drives via a tray icon. Middle-click the tray icon to toggle the second cd-rom drive.

Icons by Onyx Reyes. A big thanks to him, awesome icons!

TrayCD is a C port of one of my old Delphi programs. The source and executable from my Delphi version is available for download as well. I initially had some troubles to get the C port working, the problem was that the program couldn't receive the messages Windows were sending it. I eventually got it working properly. I think traycd-0.1 is a pretty good example to look at if you're trying to make your first tray program in C.

Updates

2009-08-23: Released 1.1. This release fixes many small bugs. No major feature added. New language: Galician by Alexander De Sousa. Alexander has also helped me fix some bugs, thanks! :)

2009-01-12: Released 1.0. Bumping the version to 1.0 since I think TrayCD now accomplishes what I set out for it to do. I have also opened a forum which I hope you'll use to discuss TrayCD and my other tools, let me know what's good and what's bad. Finally, I would like to let you know that I have put donating details on the site, so if you feel this program is useful, please consider donating money.

2008-11-16: Released 0.3 which has new icons by Onyx Reyes and support for multiple CD-trays.
