Goal ScenariosGoal Scenarios is what TrackLink is all about. They are motivators for developing TrackLink, its "selling points". If there's something you'd love to have in TrackLink, add a scenario. Guidelines for Writing Scenarios- Forget about the implementation. Pretend it's magic. Write scenarios without thinking about how it may work. If you'd like to elaborate on problems when implementing a scenario or write implementation ideas, link to a separate page called MyScenarioImplementation.
- Use present tense, first person, active voice. Imagine showing working scenario to your team-mate and describing what you are doing.
- Don't drift into details (esp. technical details), and don't describe common setup steps.
- Claim benefit. A benefit is a simple phrase, which addresses the question "why would I do that". Don't invent complex benefits. A simple "save time" is the most common case, but there may be other benefits as well.
- Mention feature(s). If this scenario revolves around a certain feature, you can mention it separately. If the feature has its own page, put a link.
