Topshelf is a lightweight framework for building Windows services using the .NET framework. The key goal of Topshelf is limiting the surface area of service-related code within the application.

This project was harvested from the host service built for MassTransit. Since it was determined that the service itself is decoupled from any messaging concerns, we thought it would be a good idea to make the service available to any project that wants to use it.
