Sites using timemap.js

  • Open Context - A public online database of academic research data.
  • The Blanton Vases - Timemap of the collection of greek vases at the Blanton Museum of Art at UT Austin.
  • GeoDia - Archaeological timemap of the ancient Mediterranean. This was the initial inspiration for timemap.js, and is still a work in progress.
  • Ushahidi - The initial deployment of Ushahidi used a timemap to display events surrounding the post-election crisis in Kenya.
  • The Hestia Project - Display of the History of Herodotus using the timeline to display narrative sequence, rather than chronological time.
  • GapVis - An interface for exploring and reading texts that reference ancient places (a successor to the Hestia Project).
  • Basetrack 1/8 - A wordpress-based site for journalists embedded with a marine batallion in Afghanistan.
  • FAILRAIL.sg - Visualizing train service disruptions in Singapore.
  • VIDI and Timelinemap - Suite of Drupal data visualization plugins, including one using timemap.js.
