What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Enter a backen package with a space in the name.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is for there to be no problems, instead it results in problems.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
Disable the ability to add spaces and incorrect characters to the backend package field in the Admin Area.

Laziness wins. Instead of running a check against the field I decided to play it safe and add a comment to the field information tooltip:

includes/tpl/addpackage.tpl

Replace line 21 with:

I will update the SVN when I get home.
