- We've made several significant changes to TestButler. A lot of work
remains. We don't expect a stable design for some time.
Nevertheless, we've already begun using the tracker application.
Here's an overview of the most significant changes:
- using Blueprint CSS and (planning for the future) jQuery
- we don't want to require the use of either framework
- a future release should make it easier to remove or replace them
- we've altered the structure of site_media/ to better support the change
- more consistent use (i.e. extension) of templates/tracker/base_site.html
- removed unused imports
- deleted tracker/forms.py
- improved most templates
- changed the DATABASE_NAME setting from './tmp-db' to './testbutler.db'
We're going to reevaluate our current python dependencies:
- django-command-extensions
- django-tagging
- django-tables (uses Bazaar version control)
- pyyaml
We've made several significant changes to TestButler. A lot of work
