Welcome to the Telegraph Documentation- What Lies Between Voice and Rails
IntroductionTelegraph is a Ruby on Rails plugin that provides robust support for adding "voice" to your Rails application with FreeSWITCH. Where To GoWe suggest you begin with HowTelegraphWorks to get a sense of the overall design philosophy and elements of Telegraph. From there, jump to GettingStarted to get yourself up and running. If you are new to FreeSWITCH you'll definitely want to check out http://www.freeswitch.org and the wiki for more information on configuring your Voice environment. Hi Jonathan, I want you to know that I think that your Telegraph for FreeSwitch? project has the potential to achieve a lot. Please do not give up on it. Hopefully you can post a small complete example including the different components of your solution. That could help us grasp the complete concept and reach a point where we can start contributing back. Contrary to the opinion of some others, the last thing I would like to do with your solution is use it for IVR's. At least in FS there are many other excellent and better alternatives. Nevertheless there are many tools like CRM/Call Center/CTI apps that would benefit a lot from your framework. The potential in that direction is great.
great work indeed. how does it differ from adhearsion or liverpie? i hope you could post some real working examples,
i just wish i could also build an opensource callcenter solution out of your effort that would be comparable to avaya's features / offerings :).
