Tatiana is a tool for interaction analysts (researchers in linguistics or cognitive sciences who are interested in analysing human interactions), particularly those who wish to analyse interactions that are mediated by technology and who wish to be able to visualise and analyse combinations of log data and videos, transcriptions, etc.

Tatiana is designed to be very versatile and can easily be adapted to import any kind of data via scripts. Tatiana can currently import data produced by:

  • CoFFEE
  • DREW
  • ELAN
  • ExcelTM (but the versatility of Excel means the import filter may need tailoring to your needs)

You can getter a better idea of what Tatiana does by looking at the Tatiana overview screencast

Once you have downloaded Tatiana, check out GettingStarted for an introductory user manual. Tatiana now includes a demo corpus, which you can explore, based on the demo corpus screencast. We aim to create a collection of screencasts describing various features of Tatiana.

Send mail to gregdyke AT gmail DOT com to discuss how best to import your data into Tatiana. To be updated on latest developments, join our facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/tatianatool (low-volume).

Tatiana is developed as part of a PhD thesis by Gregory Dyke. If you use Tatiana for your research, please cite:
