Quick setup for the maven-t7-plugin

Getting Started

Edit your POM

As with any other Maven2 Plugin you have to configure the plugin in the build-section of your projects pom.xml file.

UPDATE: We are in Maven-Central-Repository (Thanks to Sonatype). Do the following step only when your Maven-Build can not resolve the plugin.

Because this plugin is not yet in Maven-Central-Repository you have to add the following repository-section to your pom.xml too:

<repositories> <repository> <id>sonatype-oss-repository</id> <url>https://oss.sonatype.org/content/groups/public/</url> <releases> <enabled>true</enabled> </releases> <snapshots> <enabled>true</enabled> </snapshots> </repository> </repositories>

We use the Sonatype-OSS-Maven-Repository-Service for uploading artifacts to Maven-Central when the first release goes live. (Thanks to Sonatype for this cool service.)

Run Maven and use the t7:run command

For a quick setup this all you have to do. After that you can run the build with the following command:

mvn clean install t7:run

Do you see a similar output on your console?

That's it. You should see a similar output on your console.

Stop the Tomcat-Server

Use Ctrl+C for stopping the process.
