How do I install the application?Download and run the latest installer from the downloads page. Advanced users can follow our compile instructions. Q. How do I configure the application?Windows users can use the Synergy GUI application which is installed by default. Linux and Mac OS X users should take a look at RelatedProjects, which suggests some 3rd party applications that can be used to configure Synergy+. Advanced users can follow our setup instructions. Q. Where can I find the Synergy+ ChangeLog?Visit the ChangeLog page. Q. How do I lock the mouse on one screen?This is useful for when playing computer games or other full screen applications. The Scroll Lock key can be used to prevent the mouse switching input to another screen. Note: For users that don't have a scroll lock key, Issue 61 has been created. Q. How secure is your application?Well, not very, but we're working on it. One of our targets for milestone M2 is to make synergy run over an encrypted connection. You're safe to use Synergy+ if you're on a network you trust, such as a LAN which is protected from the internet using a firewall. Q. What's the difference between Synergy+ and a KVM?The biggest difference is that a KVM handles video, and Synergy+ does not. To use our application, you must have a display for each computer. Other than that, Synergy+ is better because you don't need to press a button to change input focus (just move your mouse off the edge of your screen). |

Is this bug fix version compatible protocol-wise with 1.3.1?
skip.montanaro: Synergy+ 1.3.4 is compatible with Synergy 1.3.1
newest recompiles of 1.3.4 are broken and are missing most files. is there an easy fix?

Hello, I've got a PC with windows vista 64bit and another with windows vista 32bit. I've installed synergy 1.3.1 and made all the changes to correct the problems i had (could not get the client 32bit to connect). The client can now connect to the server and work with its mouse and keyboard but several times during the day the mouse and the keyboard lag. I press the buttons on the keyboard and there is delay and then the cursor doesn't move properly. Do you have any solutions? If I install synergy plus x64 to the client(32bit) and synergy plus x86 to the server (64bit) will i get them to work? Thank you in advance
Issue 196: VC9 CRT is not installed with the installer On XP installations where this is not installed, the launcher fails. Please add the workaround (obtaining the redistributable) to the FAQ.
How do you uninstall Synergy+ from a Mac?
