We have a page on the wiki[1] that should list (scientific) papers mentioning SymPy, but it's currently empty. Populating this would be interesting and could also persuade other academics to try out/use SymPy. Google Scholar can be used to track down papers. See also the thread which originally asked about this[2].

Posted on Oct 28, 2011 by Happy ElephantAlso, things like proceedings/posters from conferences where there have been talks about SymPy should go there. See http://code.google.com/p/sympy/wiki/SymPyPresentations.

Posted on Oct 28, 2011 by Happy ElephantIn fact, that page (SymPy Presentations) should be moved to the new wiki (see also issue 707). Should they perhaps be on the same page?

Posted on Oct 28, 2011 by Swift KangarooYeah, I think having them on the same page would be fine, it's not like there's a danger of it getting too big any time soon.

Posted on Nov 30, 2011 by Happy ElephantSome TODOs for the current page:
It is still incomplete. In particular, not everything from http://code.google.com/p/sympy/wiki/SymPyPresentations is there.
It should use a table, especially the presentations section. It would be easiest to convert it to rst and use something like at https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/gsoc-2011-report.
It should be split into "Papers that use SymPy" and "Papers the mention SymPy".

Posted on Jan 29, 2012 by Swift KangarooThis isn't fixed, actually, the first two TODOs from #7 still apply: not all presentations are included and it should probably be changed to a table.
I did however split it up into papers that use and only mention SymPy, so that is done. I also have a feeling some papers were missed (though I did manage to find a few more), but it's hard to search for them - if someone is aware of any, please add them!
