Swym's ideal is to be the most readable language ever made.
It's very terse, featuring minimal boilerplate and decoration, and pretty compact syntax - while stopping short of APL line noise.
It's also designed to be guessable: those who have used any C-like language will recognize many of the operators and control structures. Moreover, the syntax and semantics are carefully chosen so that familiar English concepts (e.g. "each" or "some") can be expressed directly, and composed naturally into more-or-less English phrases.
Swym is easy to try out - the current interpreter is written in Javascript, and runs in your browser. Admittedly, it's clunky and slow: it's just a proof of concept, and will be replaced with a proper compiler at some point.
