since the commons-logging is a transitive dependency of swixml2 we have to
refactor logging system to make swixml2 compliant to it

Though I'd recommend to stick with SLF4J  as a very lightweight and well-performant solution: specifically http://www.slf4j.org/faq.html#yet_another_facade

i agree with you ... at the moment , to minimize deps, i've not planned refactoring of log system

i keep the std java logging
