swfinfo
Description
People working in the Advertising industry (mainly Publishers) receive SWF files from Agencies most of the times with no information whatsoever on how to track clicks. This info can be obtained by decompiling the SWF file in question. On Windows most of these tools are freeware and demo versions, too heavy and clunky for this simple task.
This extension is aimed at getting more info out of the SWF files from within the browser by displaying an overlay tab on top of the SWF files that when clicked opens a sidebar with the SWF file info. One can also open the sidebar by pressing Ctrl+Shift+I or by going to View -> Sidebar -> SWF Info.
The sidebar is in fact a website that takes care of decompiling the SWF file (with Igor Kogan's flare) and outputting useful information such as the clicktag implementation, the actionscript code and the file's metadata.
