In my test page, at http://frugalalgorithm.burningbird.net, I'm using a SVG background element. 

When I click through to one of the site's articles, the SVG is not being redrawn for Safari and 
Chrome, it always is with Firefox (windows and Mac), and Opera (Windows and Mac), and 
haphazardly with IE. 

I have to do an actual reload of the page to get the SVG to appear.

Hi Shelley I think I already have this fixed on the head of subversion. I've attached
an updated version of svg.js (compressed) to this file that I believe has the fix you
need. See if that works for you; if so I'll close this bug out.
