Currently Google Project supports version 1.1 of the Mozilla Public License. Version 2.0 of the license was released in January 2012:

http://www.mozilla.org/MPL/2.0/

By adding support for Mozilla Public License 2.0, Google Project can host new projects who wish to use this license.

That's a good suggestion. In the meantime, you can just tag your project as "Other Open Source".

MPL 2.0 seems to be preferred by OSI[1], any chance of an update soon?

I'm switching all my MPL code to MPL 2.0.

So, an update soon would be appreciated by me too.

I use "Other Open Source", but its not very informative.
