SteamWin is a library allowing easy creation of windows that match the interface of Steam by Valve Software.

SteamWin allows you to create windows that look, feel, and work exactly like a stock Steam window, even if the user has a non-standard skin.

It does this by parsing the steamscheme.res file and utilizing the resources of the current Steam skin. SteamWin then uses the exact same data as Steam itself for creating windows.

No Steam? No problem! Include a Steam skin with your application, or point to the location of a downloaded Steam skin, and you're good to go!

SteamWin is dual-licensed licensed under the CDDL and the LGPL v3.

Dual-licensing means you get to choose which license you to apply to the software, depending on your needs. You must abide by the terms of which-ever license you choose, but are not required to abide by the terms of the other one. Contact me if there are any questions.
