What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install StatusNotifier through Cydia, regularly as always.
2. Springboard crashes after respring, and keeps crashing until we uninstall StatusNotifier, which is the only way to solve the problem.

In Cydia try installing libstatusbar or IntelliStatusBarIcons. It fixed the Notifier package for me on a 3G phone running iOS4.

@scott4740 Were you using Notifier or StatusNotifier? Also if you use StatusNotifier does the mute icon work on iOS4?

I'm having the same problem on iPhone 4. Have installed IntelliStatusBarIcons but still phone goes in Safe Mode.

OpenNotifier seems to be the only alternative I can find that sort of makes up for StatusNotifier not working...the icons look similar and it works very well on my 4.1 3gs.
