Reported by the...@gmail.com, Jun 24, 2010
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install via cydia
2. Reboot/Respring

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I haven't gotten any crash logs yet but it just goes to safe mod so it's causing mobile substrate to go to safe mode. Just wanted to report it before I spent lots of time looking into it incase it was known and being worked on.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iOS 4 Official, JB with Pwnage 4.01 or Redsn0w 0.9.5b5-4 for mac

Please provide any additional information below.

springboard keeps going into safe mood after installing this app. Is it not compatible with ios4?

Same problem here. Install StatusNotifier and then do a reboot/respring. Springboard will stay in safe mode until you remove StatusNotifier.

Again, the only way I've found to resolve the problem is to remove StatusNotifier completely. I love statusnotifier, any idea if this will be fixed?

Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. Can any dev confirm the current version isn't compatible with iOS 4?

In Cydia trying installing libstatusbar or IntelliStatusBarIcons. It fixed the Notifier package for me.

I agree and it's what I did, but notifier != statusnotifier, IMHO statusnotifier > notifier in many ways. And not just icons, stuff like silent mode in statusnotifier has an icon and in notifier it doesn't detect that. But that is just my opinion, at some point I should attempt to repair this but I've just been so busy I keep hoping the author would return to update it but it seems like this is a dead project sadly.

Very sad indeed. Statusnotifier is my main reason for jailbreaking my iPhone, since it is the only thing that shows you an icon when the phone is muted.

So pleaassee, resurrect the project!

Indeed. Technically, I don't think you're even allowed to use Google Code for closed source projects.
