What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create new account
2. don't login for first time
3. request password

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected : Your new password is: 'something'
see: Your new password is: 
(it was blank)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
osx firefox3

Please provide any additional information below.
Maybe my password had an odd character in it, it was auto generated by
password manager.
