IPython v0.11 will be not be fully supported on Windows platforms within Spyder's console plugin.

No this plugins is not written yet. I've just started to think about it and test some basic things. I don't expect to be able to ready for testing until two or three weeks (I'm quite busy at least in the next 10 days, being in vacation).

I'll write something about this either on Spyder's discussion group or on Spyder's blog.

Apart from the fact that IPython v0.11 will not be fully supported on Windows platforms (see Spyder's blog: link in comment 7), the only thing missing to close this issue is to enable IPython command line option parsing -- this feature was broken with IPython v0.11 (i.e. options specified in Console preferences are simply ignored).
