This page teaches how to translate the SpeedCrunch website to your language.

The website can now be translated using the popular and old PO format. The latest version of the translation files are always available at http://gitorious.org/projects/speedcrunch-org/repos/mainline/trees/master/locale .

After downloading the corresponding language file (or the POT file for a translation from scratch), you have to edit it with poEdit, KBabel, any other PO editing software or even manually with any UTF-8 capable text editor (ony in case you really know what you're doing).

You must follow this rule: all \" (backslash quote) occurrences must be kept in the translated expression.

You must then send it either to me ( helder (\dot/) pereira (\dot/) correia (\at/) gmail (\dot/) com ) or to our mailing-list and I'll update our system with your translation in 1 minute with our new platform.

Everytime the website changes, a script collects all the expressions marked for translation and updates all PO files accordingly. All your previous translations are kept and you will only have to translate the new expressions.
