it is annoying to use negative variables everywhere. The problem is that gconf does not tell us wether a key exists or not (if it doesn't exist, it returns False, if it's false it returns False and if it is set to true it returns True). I think gconf schemas are the only way to get "default values" in the configuration, right? |

To hell with gconf schemas! Figured out a simple way that I will be committing in SVN 112

perhaps there is a way to handle that with setup.py: http://www.ogmaciel.com/?p=502 but do we really want to care about this?
