Enhancements to FontForge include:

User-tailored construction of composite glyphs, glyph references, etc.
"Spacing by anchors" -- a partly automated method for computing spacing and kerning simultaneously. This is not an autokerning system -- the designer works "by eye", but the task is replaced with a much less tedious one.

Fonts:

Goudy Oldstyle and Italic (based on the 14-point foundry type)

Fonts under development (with no guarantees that they will be completed) include:

Linden Hill, based on Frederic Goudy's Deepdene
Goudy Bookletter 1911, which is based on Goudy's Kennerley Old Style, and the related Forum titling. (My previous and widely available public domain version of Kennerley roman will be included as Goudy Bookletter 1911 Classic. Otherwise, this would be a completely new cut, including the roman.) Update: I have decided to keep GB1911 in its current form, and give the news fonts some other name or names, yet to be determined.
Goudy Title (based on the 18-point foundry type)
Sorts Mill Walbaum
Valley, a Walbaum-like typeface
Slab Mediaeval, based on Diethelm-Antiqua (my previous effort at a Diethelm, the public-domain font Juvelo, and the uncompleted Juvelo Italic, being unsatisfactory to me, if not to others)
Spinelo, a wedgy text face
