FAQ
Q: Why did you make this program? A: I was tired of trying to make other SopCast front-ends behave the way I wanted them to. So instead of complaining, I decided I would make a front-end I was happy with. Q: I don't really like the way this program is laid out, what can I do to improve it? A: You can submit an improvement idea on the Issues page or pull down a working copy from source and update it to incorporate your changes. I would be happy to work with any developer to improve SopCast Player. Or, as an alternative, you can take the wheel and start your own project based on SopCast Player, that is the beauty of open source. Q: Do you really listen to your users on improvement ideas? A: About three-quarters of the improvements in 0.2.0 were a direct result of product improvement ideas submitted by users like you. Q: When I launch SopCast I experience <insert your issue here>? A: The quickest way to get resolution is to submit a new entry on the Issue page. Alternatively you can visit Ubuntu Forums or Fedora Forums and leave a message. Q: I am developing a project, will you help with <insert your issue here>? A: I can't promise anything, but I try to help anyone who asks. Q: Your program really stinks and I just want to complain -or- Your program is great and I want to let everyone know. Where do I post my comments? A: Please post your comments on the User Experiences page |
