SopCast Player is designed to be an easy to use Linux GUI front-end for the p2p streaming technology developed by SopCast. SopCast Player features an integrated video player, a channel guide, and bookmarks. Once SopCast Player is installed it simply "just works" with no required configuration.
Version 0.3.1 Available Through Version Control
All, I finally have Karmic up and running so I now see what an annoyance it is to have extra windows popping up when you want to watch a show. I have the extra windows issues sorted but now I am running into a problem with one of the dependencies required by sp-sc-auth. The default repositories no longer include libstdc++5 which is required for sp-sc-auth. I have decided to wait to put out a package for 0.3.1 until the dependency issues are sorted.
On a brighter note four more languages have been added to SopCast Player: Hungarian, Bulgarian, Romanian, and Albanian. Thank you for your excellent work!
