Summary

SopCast Player is designed to be an easy to use Linux GUI front-end for the p2p streaming technology developed by SopCast. SopCast Player features an integrated video player, a channel guide, and bookmarks. Once SopCast Player is installed it simply "just works" with no required configuration.

SopCast Player 0.7.1 Released

I am pleased to announce the release of SopCast Player version 0.7.1. This release adds the ability to delete bookmarks as well as fixes the logic when dealing with bookmarks (it should now be impossible to add a bookmark with no channel selected), maintenance release also fixes unicode issue while adding bookmarks. Also, I have created a fallback system to deal with the different versions of the vlc bindings. This negates the need to maintain separate branches of this project.
