I've tried to use Timidity with fresh Solfege under Windows - can't make it
run minimized. Could you please make Solfege always run external progs
minimized? If I use 'cmd.exe /c start /min timidity.exe' - it starts too
slow. MMA exercises work perfect, not counting the mma and timidity windows
that flash each time they run.

Give me links to a working timdidity installer, sound founts and a timidity.cfg that
works with it, and I will try to look at it. Timidity on windows seems like a
complete chaos when coming from linux.

As Ruslan pointed out to me, this is already mentioned on our wiki:
> I've been using the installer mentioned at you

> It comes with all GUS patches required and proper timidity.cfg, so you only
> need to specify 'c:\timidity\timidity.exe' in options, running then some MMA
> exercise (MMA ones always use external player for some reason).

Found a solution for this. Google "python subprocess startupinfo" if you are
interested. I'll add this tonight. Have to go to work now.
