issue 137 (Failure to add ANY feeds) commented on by tyga1au   -   This is an old post but i'll reply anyway. Instead of getting this "http://feeds.feedburner.com/treehuggersite" You get this "feed://feeds.feedburner.com/treehuggersite" Which wont pass as a legitimate link in snackr You need to change "feed" to "http", and then it works.

issue 271 (snackr should be customizable in shape and position) reported by joostvanbarneveld   -   just like other programs, i'd like to place snackr wherever i want in whatever size i desire. See screenshot. For this paricular setup, it would need to scroll vertically, but when we're requesting features let's go all the way ;) For the rest, it's a really nice implementation of the idea of RSS !

Click the headline on the ticker What is the expected output? What do you see instead? -Instead of waiting for Snackr to load the whole web page, a feature to make certain posts open directly in the users standard browser, or a snack- size reduced post could appear instead. issue 267 (When docked left or right, ticker collapses to bottom of scr...) reported by crystalsinger   -   Always happens, seems to be intended behaviour. I expect that this behaviour should be user-configurable (i.e. choose whether to collapse to top or bottom of screen). If not user-configurable, it seems counter-intuitive to collapse the controls to the opposite edge of the screen from where they are positioned during application use. The collapse/uncollapse cycle requires moving cursor from top to bottom of the screen, rather than simply clicking the same location (to reverse an accidental collapse, for example). Snackr v0.33 OSX 10.4.11 Build 8S2167 on Intel. AIR runtime 1.5.1.8210

issue 17 (Snackr uses too much CPU on the Mac) commented on by evangelistk01   -   On Windows XP 3 on an older laptop, 86 to 96% of the cpu is full when this program is in use. RAM usage isn't bad, but it hovers at 55,000K. Every 8 to 9 seconds CPU usage drops to 10% before hiking back up. I love this program but it's impossible to run anything else.

issue 259 (Features request: Font size changes and manual scrolling) reported by jemtan   -   Hi, I would like to be able to make the font size bigger so that I can just run snackr for instance, to occupy the whole screen (pure RSS console). I would also like to be able to "drag" and stop the scrolling of news, for the item I missed. Sort of rewind feature, so that I don't have to wait until the next cycle to be able to click on it (and read it). Thanks! James

issue 144 (feeds that include images are not always displayed in the ti...) commented on by abzs2k   -   I too am experiencing this issue; v0.33 on AIR 1.5 | Windows XP SP3. I have tried altering the speed to minimum, under the impression that perhaps the images were failing to load quick enough, however, this has made no difference. I have also demonstrated a constant internet connection by streaming live media while this issue occurs. Your reply makes it sound as though the images are loaded in real time. I can't help but feel that is possibly the problem. Perhaps a solution would be to preload and store in memory the image associated with each feed (as these will be the same for all articles on any given feed, from my understanding), so that it doesn't need to load them in real time. Regards abzs2k
