Comment by bruno.pi...@gmail.com, Jun 2, 2009

to josepcuadrado, cinterion and siemens are equal, it is all a matter of trademarks! 'Recently' Siemens freed its Wireless modules division which became an independent company name Cinterion wireless modules. In practice, both names are actually used...

Huawei E172 - works well.

Comment by j...@teleyah.com, Jul 22, 2010

ZTE MF633 USB Modem works if you specify "ZT"E and "MF6222" as the manufacturer and model respectively. Yes, that is "MF622". This gets SMSLib to use the special ZTE MF622 handler which adds code to force the modem to turn on and to ignore the "SR" storage location. SMSlib does not recognize the "MF633" model number (yet).

You may also want to follow the instructions at http://www.zte.com.au/downloads/USB_Modem_Config_Procedure.pdf to disable the automatic startup of the bundled software (AT+ZCDRUN=8).

Comment by the.vasa...@gmail.com, Dec 13, 2011

Nokia 3110 classic only sends messages, not read

but need modification on example :

use example "SendEncryptedMessage?" in example.modem

and remove : " OutboundEncryptedMessage? msg = new OutboundEncryptedMessage?("+306948494037", "Hello (encrypted) from SMSLib!".getBytes());"

replace by : "OutboundMessage? msg = new OutboundMessage?("+306948494037", "Hello from SMSLib!");"

and it's work
