Issue 179: Special handler for MC35i respondig with CME ERROR:100 on ATZ.

Hi.

I got my hand on two suspicious Siemens MC35i modems. These two are unique
by responding with CME ERROR:100 on every ATZ (and not responding on
'AT+CPIN?' that follows). This leads to infinite modem restarting.

Issuing AT&F and storing defaults by AT&W didn't help. By some mysterious
reasons replacing ATZ with AT&F in 'sync' and 'reset' methods of ATHandler
made it to work (looks like stable enough).

I made special MC35i handler (extending default MC35i) which uses AT&F to
restore default settings. This handler can be used in cases where this
model fails to init properly (and sacrificing ability to use custom user
config from ATZ).

Maybe it was just a defective shipment, however having this handler won't
hurt I think.

This issue will stay as remainder until patch is submitted. Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for this. I would certainly not hurt. We would just need an alternate name for
this new handler - a firmware revision marker maybe(?)

Firmware is the same for both normal and malfunctioning modems. They are absolutely
equal if not taking S/N into account.

Name for the new ATHandler is Siemens_MC35i_FD. FD stands for 'Factory Defaults'.
