The SLIME project aims to provide tools for the development of applications across a wide set of domains using Javascript as the primary development language.

SLIME provides a module system that makes it easier to compose applications out of a set of components and to enable the development of Javascript components that can run in a wide variety of environments, taking advantage of the underlying capabilities of each platform on which they run.
