I am owner of the Polaris 5in1 GPS datalogger and you application work out of the box. Thanks a lot. I have also seen that there are other projects in the linux community that already a setup a project to handle the download and conversion of GPS data from different GPS devices, GPSBabel. It would be a great step for the user community if your work could be integrated into the GPSBabel and re-use the support of other great things in GPSBabel.
