issue 103 ("Get info" doesn't work) reported by gabriele...@yahoo.it   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. On pidgin, right-click on a skype contact and select "Get info" What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect to see the same contact info I see doing: on Linux Skype Client, right-click on a skype contact and select "View profile", but on Pidgin I see only "Skype name", "Full name" and "Mood text". Whole "Personal information" section is missing (screenshot attached). What version of the plugin are you using? On what operating system? svn trunk. linux amd64 Thanks

Pseudocode: while (msg = get_message_from_skype()) { push_message_to_buffer(msg); } sort_buffer(); show_all_messages_from_buffer(); I should have some free time next week, can try to create patch here.

issue 99 (Reuse skype running in Xvfb) reported by andrew.kirilenko   -   Another small issue. If you are using skype in Xvfb and exit pidgin, skype4pidgin can't connect to it on next run. Here is trivial patch to fix this issue. Also, spawning async Xvfb and immideatly spawning skype after this isn't really good as Xvfb can be not fast enough to spawn before you try to spawn skype (never happened to me however).

issue 98 (Offline messages order) reported by andrew.kirilenko   -   Low priority issue. When somebody sends messages to you when you are offline, you are receiving them in random order. E.g. I sent myself 4 messages from wife's laptop (using skype itself) and got following from skype4pidgin: (10:32:31 AM) Liliya Kirylenka: 3 (10:32:32 AM) Liliya Kirylenka: 4 (10:32:30 AM) Liliya Kirylenka: 2 (10:32:29 AM) Liliya Kirylenka: 1 Should be easy to fix.

issue 97 (Latest Pidgin PPA update causes crash ) reported by slumbergod   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Update Pidgin to 2.6.4 from the Ubuntu Pidgin-Developer PPA 2. Restart Pidgin (assuming Skype4Pidgin was already installed and enabled) What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Pidgin doesn't start at all. From cli crashes with a seg fault. What version of the plugin are you using? On what operating system? The latest from this website. Please provide any additional information below. If I go into my home folder and rename .purple, Pidgin will start and prompt to make a new account. If I start with a Skype account using Skype4Pidgin, the moment I okay the new account, Pidgin crashes. Uninstalling Skype4Pidgin, then renaming the archived .purple folder back to .purple, then starting Pidgin, all is well again (sans the Skype account). Of course, this might be particular to my Xubuntu Karmic install with Pidgin and Skype4Pidgin. It needs others experiencing the same to confirm this behaviour.

issue 38 (Pidgin crashes when signing in to Skype) commented on by slumbergod   -   For me, if I have the skype4pidgin plugin enabled for my account and try to start Pidgin when Skype is not signed in or running Pidgin crashes. The plugin needs to do a quick check to see if a Skype account is logged in and if not then disable the plugin.

issue 77 (Skype is regularly disconnected) commented on by yahooobot   -   I've also experienced this frequent disconnection problem on Linux with D-Bus (don't know about X11 messaging or other OSes.) By checking with dbus-monitor, I believed it was caused by the "SEARCH MISSEDCHATMESSAGES" command. For some reason, libpurple got the "skype not responding" error and logs the account out. To confirm this, I've made skype_check_missedmessages() in libskype.c always return false, and the problem's gone.

issue 95 (Source tarballs?) reported by gabriele...@yahoo.it   -   Eion, please also publish source tarballs at http://code.google.com/p/skype4pidgin/downloads/list so it will be easier for me being alerted by new ones. I know we already talk about it but try to understand me: you solved all of my bugs and now I'm no more in open bugs list. With this one, guess who's back! ;D And don't close it without solving it otherwise I will open another one ;D And fixing my english, no, it will not be considered as a bug solution! ;) Many thanks.

issue 94 (Plugin doesn't handle XML response on call ending.) Status changed by eionrobb   -   Yeah, this is an unintended side-effect of showing the "Please add me to your contact list" messages in chats/IMs. I like your idea of a "call ended after X seconds" though, so I'll look into replacing the XML with that instead :)

issue 94 (Plugin doesn't handle XML response on call ending.) reported by fryguy9   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Make a call. 2. Talk. 3. End the call. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect some kind of "Call ended after X seconds", instead a response shows in the chat window like the following: <partlist alt=""> <part identity="other_user_name"> <name>Other User's Display Name</name> <duration>2057</duration> </part> <part identity="my_user_name"> <name>My Display Name</name> <duration>2057</duration> </part> </partlist> the my_user_name, My Display Name, etc, has the actual values of myself and the person I'm calling. What version of the plugin are you using? On what operating system? Latest (website shows 20 Sept 2009). Vista x64 SP2 Please provide any additional information below.

issue 92 (Group chat problem) commented on by jmses@telefonica.net   -   Sorry, I didn't know anything about that option. Following the same process I have recorded the attached log. There you can see on line 83 this message: "(08:44:38) server: Leaving room: #nostromo0002/ $ad231628f4588393". This happened when I closed the multi chat window. When the next message "Hello again!" was received, it created a new individual chat window instead of a multi chat window with all of the members of the conversation. Maybe the problem is that Skype is not notified about me leaving the multichat room. Regards, Javier
