SKOSEd is a plugin for Protege 4 that allows you to create and edit thesauri (or similar artefacts) represented in the Simple Knowledge Organisation System (SKOS).
The SKOS spec is still changing, until SKOS is finalised SKOSEd is likely to change with it. No plans to support backwards compatibility with older version of SKOS.
Update April 2009: Here is an update on the development of SKOSEd. Users should be aware that the SKOS spec has changed with regards to labels. All SKOS labels have now moved from data properties to annotations and are declared sub-properties of rdfs:label. If you import the latest SKOS ontology you will see that the labels are now available as annotation properties. I am waiting for some updates to the OWL API and subsequently Protege that will enable the extension of annotation properties using sub-property axioms. In the meantime I suggest you convert all your labels to annotations properties. Please e-mail me if you any queries about this. Simon
