SJSB has been tested with few SEF extensions. Ill keep this page updated with issues and fixes

Also look at this bug to get an idea about issues with SEF. http://code.google.com/p/sjsb/issues/detail?id=37

Joomla! SEO Settings (1.0.14a) :

  1. can browse, post and so on, basically it works fine

Note: sometimes after changing from no SEF to SEF and for no reasons, the menu are pointing to broken urls. Opening the menu item from the menu manager to 'apply/save' them seems to fix them.

Note: if enabling SEF break your site menu/urls and layout (no CSS loaded), with or without SJSB installed, another thing to try is to set in Joomla! configuration.php the live_site variable to point to your base root, ie http://www.youpokeme.com/sjsb

sh404SEF: looks almost working but has a lots of small hidden issues:

  1. rss urls are broken
  2. joomla and smf must use the same database
  3. mod_smfssi triggers random db load errors
  4. generally, a lots more queries!
  5. the plugin is based for the 'old' official smf bridge (Joomla! 1.0.x) and for SMF 1.x
  6. do not expect ajax scripts to work too much

Workaround: You can keep sh404SEF for all your site and turn it off for just com_smf by setting it at 'skip' from the advanced admin panel. 'No cache' is promising, but ajax scripts fail to load data due to sh404SEF/Joomla! incapacity to handle non HTML views and raw formats from SEF urls.

The workaround sort of working...

My CSS is not loading, and I tried to edit the configuration.php to point it to the right file. What file is it actually supposed to load, though? Is this the sjsb component, or something else?
