Is there any chance we will see any of these new betas working on the ipod touch with the touchmods mic?

Comment by advacomp, Oct 13, 2008

Also is there any chance of Skype support?

Comment by advacomp, Nov 25, 2008

Any guess on a release date yet?

Comment by samuelv0304, Nov 30, 2008

I'm waiting the Apple's answer.

Comment by mwahal, Dec 28, 2008

How do I get to be a beta tester ? Thanks. Mudit

Comment by dustobub, Jan 03, 2009

Just tested the new version in Cydia and everything is working great. Thank you very much for your effort, it is great to finally have a solid working and free SIP app on my iphone 3g. Are you planning on implementing speakerphone? Also, I know you were testing a daemon for siphon, this requires a constant data connection to the sip server. How does this effect battery life? Is it possible to have an idle connection to the server with periodic connection updates to save battery life? Thanks. Dustin

Comment by myneid, Jan 24, 2009

samuel, thank you so much for keeping this alive. a few weeks back i installed siphone. i use softphones exclusively with my business line and i hate them all. i am now using siphon for almost all of my calls for business (because cell service is choppy) i connect to an asterisk server, everything is awsome. i use backgrounder to set it in the background no worries. so thankyou very much

Comment by cytrion, Jan 29, 2009

Does Siphon support .G729 codec ?

Comment by connectsys, Jan 30, 2009

looking forward to getting this from the appstore, the only reason i JB'd my phone was to use this app.

Comment by mikes.pager, Jan 30, 2009

A welcome feature would be a way to prefix a number with a particular dialing sequence so that these calls get dialed using GSM. (Perhaps a at the beginning of the number) I was looking for the source, to do a custom compile for my own use but I only see a few files in the SVN repo (Siphon2) Are more files coming?

Comment by mornel.fuinion, Mar 01, 2009

Thank you for this great app!

Comment by Chr.Scha...@gmx.de, Jun 26, 2009

does it support secure calls, too, i.e. SIP over TLS and SRTP?
