Summary
Simple Search is a freeware internet search bar with a customizable XML based plugin architecture. Includes plugins for popular sites such as Google, Dictionary.com, and others. It's easy to modify included plugins, or to create your own for your favorite site. Also can be used as a program launcher, or to jump directly to any URL.
Starting with version 1.0, Simple Search has been re-written from the ground up in Cocoa. new features include the ability to hide the dock icon/menu bar, a history of recent queries, and the ability to make the window floating or not.

Building
Originally developed in 2002-2003, this project is in need of updating to make use of technologies such as Cocoa Bindings, etc. It hasn't been actively developed since about 2003, and was one of the author's first Cocoa projects.
