This project is for the development of a Simplenote application for BlackBerry devices.

A 1.0 release is now available which although basic in operation, allows notes to be downloaded, displayed, edited on the device and the changes pushed back to the server. Deleting and searching notes on the device is not supported yet. Future releases will improve note synchronisation so that it happens in the background as at present the user interface is locked out during an update.

We already have a couple of known issues with the 1.0 release but these will be addressed in 1.1 which should follow quite quickly. After than we'll be looking at adding support for a couple of new/improved features:

• Deleting notes
• Searching notes
• Configuring the displayed order of the notes
• Note synchronization / saving happening as a background process
