I've created a SIMBL plugin for Quicktime Player X to automatically start playback of the movie when entering full screen and resigning full screen when the movie ends. Works on OSX 1.6.0 - 1.6.4. Check: http://github.com/sjaek/QTXAutoPlayFullscreen

The TerminalCopyOnSelect? at http://blog.s21g.com/articles/1077 gives the "has not been tested" message with current versions of Terminal. You can get a copy compiled from the current github sources at http://www.argon.org/~roderick/ .
