The project

The aim of this project, now codenamed "sgarlatur", is to provide a Mozilla Firefox langpack for North-Western Lombard. (Lombard language and its variants are mainly spoken in Lombardy and in a region in the South of Switzerland. You can find more technical and authoritative details on the Ethnologue website.)

The current langpack version (0.0.52 for Mozilla Firefox 4.0) is still a work-in-progress, full of linguistic issues here and there. Using the localization tool provided by the project, you can help in getting the langpack better.

The localization tool

You can checkout the localization tool from the Subversion repository or download it from the Downloads section.

Using the tool, you can customize the current translation or create a new langpack for Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or later. See HowTo for the details.
