StereoBaseline
The separation between cameras

In stereo vision the baseline value is the distance which separates the two cameras. In robotics applications this is typically between 50-150 millimetres. On early versions of a humanoid robot I used a 70mm baseline. Later robots used a wider 140mm baseline in order to generate larger pixel disparities for modelling of objects at close range.
