What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In Firefox open Selenium IDE (Tools->Selenium IDE)
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see the Selenium IDE window as usual but instead the browser crashes
and I get the crash report dialogue window.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Selenium Version: IDE-IDE-91  (http://xserve.openqa.org:8085/browse/IDE-IDE-91/artifact
). This is the latest one as of this bug report. 
Browser: Firefox 4.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.2
Operating System: Ubuntu Linux 11.04


Please provide any additional information below.
I also tried uninstalling selenium and reinstalling it (restarting the browser both
times).

I just aptitude updated my firefox package today to 4.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.3
. And the crash no longer happens! So guess this ticket can be closed.

This was a bug with the ubuntu 11.04 global menu bar integration, see:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/globalmenu-extension/+bug/783790
