scrobblify
Happy times!
Version 0.3.9 of Spotify makes Scrobblify obsolete by adding scrobbling support!
I'm removing the executable Scrobblify but leaving the project as it is.
Scrobble the songs you listen to with Spotify.
Scrobblify
Scrobblify sends the tracks you play with Spotify to Audioscrobbler (Last.fm). It is still an experimental program.
At the moment, only Windows is supported (but it also works under Wine).
Use the Issues tab when reporting errors. You want to check out the Frequently Asked Questions page first.
Important
You need the Last.fm client, and untick the option which makes it send status messages to MSN Messenger (Spotify does that anyway) under Tools > Options > Messenger
.
Make sure that you are logged in to Last.fm in the client.
Latest version
- Multiple Spotify accounts supported
- Falls back on a five minute track length if no meta-data is found
- New icon
- Allows only one running instance
Other solutions
Two scrobbling-solutions for OS X can be found here: Scrobble for Spotify discussions on Last.fm: Spotify scrobbler for Mac OS X (quick link to the second: spotify-scrobbler project page).
A more general approach to Spotify plug-ins (for the Windows client), with an implementation of a scrobbler, can be found on the spotify-plugins project page.
Building the source code
To build, you need to link against Audioscrobbler.
Scrobblify is in no way affiliated with Spotify or Last.fm
