I'm not sure what you mean by custom fields. I don't have a wordpress blog, so if it's wordpress-specific, you'll have to talk to Chris. On a slightly unrelated note, please upgrade to the latest version (2.2.1), as there are many improvements. If there is a specific reason you are still using 1.4.6, please file a bug report/feature request about it.

yes, I use wordpress. there are some templates i use which require "custom fields" being input for proper functioning, usually it involves the tagging of some picture for "latest post" or whatever. scribefire is great for default posting, but it never allowed me to use custom fields and yes, i'll be upgrading soon. just let me move my primairy blog to a new domain first (within these days) |

I realize that this is a part-time project for yall.. but I would really like to know when this will be supported... I just need the ability to add custom fields.. a bunch based on the custom fields I have already added to my blog. This is prohibiting me from working with some custom themes easily. |

I want it too. If scribefire support this, it will be my only blog editor! |

Seriously. If Scribefire wants to compete with Live Writer, it has to get WP custom fields working. |
