What is the problem?

is there custom-fields support?

What version of ScribeFire are you using? (This can be found in the Tools > Add-ons dialog box.)

1.46

What blogging service are you using (if applicable)?

wordpress

What browser are you using (name and version; e.g., Firefox 2.0.0.12)?

firefox 2.0.0.13

Are you using Windows, Mac, or Linux?

I'm not sure what you mean by custom fields. I don't have a wordpress blog, so if
it's wordpress-specific, you'll have to talk to Chris.

On a slightly unrelated note, please upgrade to the latest version (2.2.1), as there
are many improvements. If there is a specific reason you are still using 1.4.6,
please file a bug report/feature request about it.

yes, I use wordpress.
there are some templates i use which require "custom fields" being input for proper
functioning, usually it involves the tagging of some picture for "latest post" or
whatever.
scribefire is great for default posting, but it never allowed me to use custom fields

and yes, i'll be upgrading soon. just let me move my primairy blog to a new domain
first (within these days)

Hi,

when this will be completed ?

its very wanted and uyrgent feature in scribefire as almost every premium theme using
custom fields to make a post its necessary.

waiting for the quick release.

I know this has turned into an open source project ... but can someone respond??

Comment 9 by liquidorb, Nov 10, 2009
I realize that this is a part-time project for yall.. but I would really like to know
when this will be supported...

I just need the ability to add custom fields.. a bunch based on the custom fields I
have already added to my blog. This is prohibiting me from working with some custom
themes easily.

Yes this is much needed by me too!! If I could code it I would add it myself but it's
beyond me!
Comment 11 by todayhill, Nov 29, 2009
I want it too. If scribefire support this, it will be my only blog editor!

Seriously. If Scribefire wants to compete with Live Writer, it has to get WP custom
fields working.
