Schhplttlr: Electric Beats

http://vimeo.com/13598389

Using movements inspired from “Schuhplattler” (traditional Bavarian folk dance). The dancers generate beats and light via sensors. Musicians, media artists, dancers and choreographers experiment with these movements during a three-day long interdisciplinary workshop, in which the audience may freely participate. The results were performed at the opening evening on July 15, 2010. This documentary film and photographs will be projected in MaximiliansForum from July 19, 2010 until September 5, 2010.

Code

schhplttlr_lichtControl_0_0.zip source code used to recieve messages from processing and control lights

schhplttlr_arduinoTimers_0_0.zip c++ timer classes for arduino Timer is a simple timer and MultiTimer allows you to have two different timers, when the first timer goes of it switches to the second timer. i.e. first timer last 1000 milliseconds then when that timer triggers it can switch to a second timer that lasts 100 milliseconds when that timer triggers it switches back to the first (and so on)
