Scary thoughts

This tool supposed to open up doors for new and more funny, more global Internet communication.

Intention

"Scary thoughts" is developed and shared with all people who would like to know how easy is to harvest our emails, and for those who want to study this topic and want to come up with new solutions.

Questions

It's hard to say what is and what is not spam. Especially following the local law in each country.

• What means email to us?
• How much we are connected with our emails?
• Do we need emails?
• Why do we care so much?
• Is it mass email always bad?
• Cannot be used with good purpose?
• What is actually spam?
• If somebody ask you something on a street, will you prosecute him/her?
• Isn't it a new platform for a new wide open game?

Technically speaking

Scary thoughts is written in Python and it's derivate wxPython(GUI). Python is cross-platform language so it can run on any OS (Linux, Unix, Mac OS, Windows, BSD, etc.). Hence to run this code you have to have Python installed beforehand (http://python.org). The actual version is simple and supposedly dirty. That's also the reason why it's free and open. If you find any way how to improve it feel free to do so.
