Introduction

It's pretty simple, but two gotchas are the plastic "hooks" on the outer cover, and the nut on the antenna connector.

Instructions

• Antenna removed, ready to be taken apart.

• The small white cover slides off, then the black GPS modules can be remove by just pulling it out.

• The outer cover pops off, but notice the direction of the hooks that hold it on. Plastic knives come in very handy here.

• the outer cover has a total of 4 hooks that need to be pushed sideways before you can remove it completely.

• the inner cover - each round hole has a phillips screw in it that needs to be removed.

• once you have removed the screws, the inner cover just pulls right off.

• remove the hex nut from the antenna connector - a pair of needle-nose pliers should work for this.

• unclip the GPS antenna connector carefully, and lift the left edge of the board over the snaps. the board will then pull out to the left easily.
